Blessed Be Your Name
In the land that is plentiful
Where Your streams of abundance flow
Blessed be Your name

Blessed Be Your name
When I'm found in the desert place
Though I walk through the wilderness
Blessed Be Your name

Blessed be Your name
When the sun's shining down on me
When the world's 'all as it should be'
Blessed be Your name

Blessed be Your name
On the road marked with suffering
Though there's pain in the offering
Blessed be Your name

Every blessing You pour out
I'll turn back to praise
When the darkness closes in, Lord
Still I will say

Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be Your name
Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be Your glorious name

You give and take away
You give and take away
My heart will choose to say

Lord, blessed be Your name

Welcome to My Life

Ok, ok, ok,  my arm has been twisted quite enough!  I didn't know it was going to be such a big deal if I didn't keep this thing updated; apparently once you start people expect you to keep going!

Anyway, my college career is rapidly coming to a close and I'm not sure how I feel about that.  I finished my preceptorship last week in the PICU at Dayton Children's Hospital.  I really enjoyed my time there and I'm really going to miss it.  Some of my patients were quite interesting...and so were their families.  One of my patient's mothers insisted that I looked like Kelly Clarkson and wanted me to sing her a song!  Yeah, needless to say, that didn't so much happen!  One of my favorite patients was a 3 month old who had pertussis.  She was sooo cute and I wanted to put her in my pocket and take her home with me!  Another one of my favorites was a 3 year old that I took care of for 2 weeks.  It was great to be able to see her progress from a critical condition where she only had a 50/50 chance of survival to being well enough to be transferred to a general floor.  It was great to be able to establish a relationship with her family too since they were there for so long.

Last weekend I went to JS with a group of friends.  All was great until someone's car broke down and we had to pile 6 people (in formal attire) into a 2-door Civic. (Thanks for that Katie)  Interesting times.  And how about that monsoon that came through for the ride home?  Pretty intense...much hydroplainage...

Well, that's pretty much what's been going on in my little world.  It's kinda weird being done with class and having free time for the first time in like 4 years!  I think I could get used to this  My condolences to all those who have finals, papers, and projects left to do.  (I have to admit that a small part of me wants to say hahaha though!)
